Hey there and Happy Monday!! This is a quick card that I put together using a big sticker from Daisy D's that I just picked up and thought was pretty cute. All I really did to it was put some glitter around the presents, added a border and some faux stitching, and then some silver thread and a red button. The cardstocks used are SU's Garden Green and Old Olive.

Just a quickie for ya here today as I try and get back into the swing of things. I had an awesome holiday and already miss everybody, especially my little Dixie.

Thanks so much for visiting, I appreciate your comments very much, so if this is your first time here let me know what you think. Take care of yourself!

Peace and Luv,
It's Saturday, and I'll be back home tonite! My posts for this week have been scheduled and I have been in Omaha and Iowa for the past 4 days, so I hope you have enjoyed what I was able to pre-post while I was gone. This is the last of the great things we made at our SU party before I left and it's a box! We used top notes and the stamp set is called Patterned Pines that we used Glorious Green ink to stamp. So I stamped it once on the top note and then again and cut them out and pop-dotted them. Then I put some Stickles on the trees and some glue for the snow and then dipped the whole thing in diamond dust. It's also an act of patience to wait for all of it to dry without messing it up! But as you can see it's all worth it. On the inside top of the box, I stamped Christmas Greetings, so that is what you'll see when you open it. Too fun!

Thanks again for visiting my blog while I've been gone. It's kind of like watering the plants for a friend so that it doesn't get lonely! Take care!

Peace and Luv,
It's Friday and I would hope that most of you are enjoying a nice long weekend, perhaps shopping?! This fun card was also made with SU products and the plastic is so fun because the stamped image is on the inside and shows through! The SU stamp we used is called More the Merrier and we stamped it twice and then we were able to color it is as we pleased. I used the "in colors" again and then we took buttons and then put sticky tape on them and dipped them in glitter. That was such a new and fun idea! Thanks again Jan!

Thanks for coming by and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Thanksgiving to you all! I can truly say that amongst my very long list of things to be thankful for, it is also for all of you who come by to visit me and for your wonderful comments. I hope that you are enjoying your day, no matter how you choose to spend it, and that it's a happy one for you!

All of the supplies, except for the ribbon, used on this card are from Stampin' Up, and thank you so much Jan for helping us create it!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! We've got another sponsor this week, and it's Inktegrity!! Joni has some very, very sweet images to work with and this little guy is one of them! The DP I used is from The Paper Loft, and the cardstocks are More Mustard and Real Red (I think). The flowers are from Close to My Heart, then I added a button with some twine tied onto it and a twine bow. Also, some lace trim and rhinestones. The image is pop-dotted, as usual. Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has created and join us this week to be in the running to win some free stuff!

Thanks for stopping in and leave me a comment to let me know how you're doing! Take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Tuesday! Like I mentioned yesterday, I attended another Stampin' Up par-tay on Saturday, and this is one of the 3 things that we made. Aren't the colors scrumptuous?! They are they new "in colors", which I think are: Dusty Durango, Soft Suede, and Really Rust. I may be wrong on some of them, so correct me if I am. The ink is the same, along with Rich Razzleberry. The stamps are from the Delightful Decorations set, and then we punched out the oranments and pop-dotted them with some silver string behind it and secured them in the back. Then we added the white metal tag with the matching brads. Luv these colors! Thanks so much to our demonstrator Jan for coming up with this one, and for Riki who was the hostess with the most-ess!!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Monday!! This was a quick Thanksgiving card that I made over the weekend, and this little mouse is sure ready to dig into his pumpkin pie, isn't he?! The image is a freebie from Two Scoops Rice, and then the fun turkey DP is from Reminisce. The cardstocks used are SU's Creamy Caramel and also a bit of Really Rust. I used a Nestie being the main image, and did some faux stitching around the outside of it. Then I added some pretty sheer ribbon and a button. There is also some Prisma glitter on the cream on top of the pie. Fun!

Well tomorrow I leave for my 4 day holiday trip, so thankfully I did attend another Stampi' Up party on Saturday where we made 3 fun things that I'm going to be able to pre-post this week while I'm gone. I luv them all, and I hope you do too!

Have an awesome Monday, thanks so much for coming by and for your great comments. Take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Friday!!! As you can see it's also Happy Birthday to one of my co-worker's Lisa. I didn't know what to make, but pulled this idea out of my head on the drive home last nite to make up a few notecards and then package them up with a little card to wish her a happy day. The papers are from DCWV's LaCreme Stack, with some black and Bashful Blue cardstocks. The monogram is from a free download from Martha Stewarts's blog and I put 6 tiny clear rhinestones down the side of the L. Then I just used my round scallop punch, pop-dotted it, and then tied a thin sheer black ribbon around it. I hope she likes them!

Well it's Friday and the last weekend before Thanksgiving, and I've got to get myself together and ready to travel next week. I'm going to try and work ahead, so that there is still something new on here everyday for you. That's the plan anyway, but no promises until I see how much I can get done this weekend!

Have an awesome day, thanks so much for coming by, and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Hey there and Happy Friday-Eve!! No challenges for you today, just a simple and cute little bear from Pink Petticoat. I just luv her stuff and can never wait until she comes out with something new because I must be one the first in line for it. This bear isn't new, but I still think he's adorable. Anyway, the cardstocks I used for this are SU's Creamy Caramel and Night of Navy. The DP's are Field of Daisies from The Paper Loft, and the small polka dot is from Basic Grey's lemonade paper pad. There's also a tiny bit of green Bazzill, similiar to Old Olive, some blue sheer ribbon, and I also Prisma glittered the flowers that he's holding.

Thanks so much for visiting, take care of yourself, and have a Beary Happy Day!!

Peace and Luv,
I never met a mall I didn't like.....Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!! It's Sketch 24 time and it's also Digi Stamp Boutique day!! This pretty little gal's name is Felicity, and she is just as happy as can be shoppin in her pink boots, wouldn't you say?! The images at Digi Stamp Boutique are so fun and cute and affordable, and to have them as a sponsor for this week, well you've just got to join in on the fun for the chance to win some of them! The cardstocks that I used are SU's Bermuda Bay, Baja Breeze and Melon Mambo and those are basically the markers that I used also, with a few additional colors thrown in. The DP is from My Mind's Eye called Frosty Pines, which is reversible, so you get to see both sides here. Then I added 3 fun clips at the top with some Target ribbon, and also a pretty white sheer ribbon bow. I also added a little rhinestone on her scarf as her little pin.

Head on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday now and be inspired and awed by what the rest of the Design Team has done, and then join us for the chance to win!

Peace and Luv,
I was feeling a bit Razzleberry making this card, can you tell?! Happy Tuesday!! When this color first came out from SU I knew I had to have it, and I do still luv the color, don't you? So I used some cardstock as well as some of the DP, together with a little Creamy Caramel and a little, little bit of Old Olive. The layout is a Mojo Monday sketch, and they are always so much fun to work with. The image and sentiment are Close to My Heart stamps from the Friendship's Garden set, that I just picked up from a yard sale. Then I just added the standard ribbon and rhinestones to make it a little fun and happy, and I hope you like it!

Thanks so much for coming by and be sure to stop in tomorrow for Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Take care and thank you for all of your great comments!

Peace and Luv,
Well a Happy Saturday to you! This is one of my most favorite images from Pink Petticoat that I decided to use again today for a Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge for this week that I thought would be fun to work with. I paper pieced this image with DP's from Pink Paislee and cardstocks from SU; Rose Red, Brocade Blue and Pretty in Pink. The image is pop-dotted, I used a nestie to cut out the background shape, and then I just added some ribbon, a couple of pearls and then I added a Sizzix swirly die cut.

I'm actually on my way this morning to a craft yard sale, meeting up with some of the gals, where we're going to try and sell some of our older/semi-used stuff. Of course, the money we make we spend on buying what other people are seeling, but that's the fun of it. Plus this sale is in the mall area of one of our favorite shops, so it's a double whammy. I'm finally feeling a little bit better, so I hope I can get thru the day without having to take a nap and going thru a box of kleenex!!

I hope your Saturday is a good one, thanks for stopping in and for your comments. Take care!

Peace and Luv,
A day without coffee....no way!! Today's card is for Shirley's 2 Girls Twisted Thursday, and the twist is to add some sort of metal. The image and sentiment are none other than Shirley's 2 Girls. The DP's I used are from DCWV's All Dressed Up stack and K and Company. Also, some cardstock from SU, Old Olive and black. The image is colored in with markers, and I added some Prisma glitter on the cupcake sprinkles and the steam. For the metal twist part, I added a circle paper clip and tied on a little sheer polka-dot ribbon, and I also did decide to turn the image on it's side. Be sure to check ot what the rest of their DT has come up with, you won't be disappointed, and join in on the fun to win something!

I hope your Friday is a good one, and that your weekend relaxing and fun. Thanks for visiting, and your comments, and take care!

Peace and Luv,
If there's a cupcake diet out there....I want it....Happy Thursday! Well I'm not feeling very well with a cold and sore throat, itchy ears, you name it, but I figured I'd at least get one card done to post for you. This image is from Pink Petticoat, and of course I added the additional cupcake on top of her head, it didn't really come that way...hehe! Anyway, the papers are from Close to My Heart, the Unforgettable set, and the ribbon is from Target. Silly, but fun!!

Thanks so much for coming by, I appreciate your comments, and take care of yourself!

Peace and Luv,
Come on girls....let's party!! These little gals might have had a few too many of something here, but I'm not sure what!! Anyway...Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!! This card is for Sketch #23, and the image that I used is from Bee Crafty. The cardstocks are SU's Baja Breeze and Only Orange and the DP is another piece of Sassafrass, just because it's fun. The image is pop-dotted, and as usual, I just added some rhinestones and a pretty bow! I've had this image for awhile and thought it was cute and funny the minute I saw it. I know it's not as cute as yesterday's card, but I hope you like it too!!

For sure you need to check out the rest of the DT's creations and you're going to want to jump right in and try this challenge out for yourself!

Thanks for stopping by, I know I have some of the best blog commenters out there and luv'd hearing your stories yesterday, so tell me what you're thinkin here today too! Rock on girlfriends!

Peace and Luv,
Hey there and Happy Tuesday to ya!! This card is made using Mojo Monday's sketch this week and it's a doozy!! Is that a word? My mom used to say it all the time, so it must me ;) Anyway, I like it, and it was really fun to work with. These stamps are from Unity that I've been wanting to use for awhile and decided today was the day. The cardstocks are SU's Creamy Caramel and Cameo Coral....that's a lot of C's...along with a piece of Sassafrass DP. I cut the image out with a nestie and pop-dotted it, then added some rhinestones and a pretty ribbon. It's bright and fun, a little goofy, and I hope you like it!

I'm feeling like I need to do some funny cards this week, since I haven't done any in awhile. I'll see what I can come up with to put a smile on your face, k? k!! Thanks for visiting, I truly appreciate your comments, and take care!!

Peace and Luv,

This card just screams Happy Friday to me!!!! Yeah!! This one is for Shirley's 2 Girls Twisted Thursday challenge #32, and the twist is to use kraft paper or paper bag. I haven't played along with them in awhile, or many challenges at all, so I'm always especially excited when I can get something done for them. I used all SU cardstocks from the Earth Elements collection and the little piece of DP is from the Cottage Wall set. Of course this fun little gal is one of Shirley's 2 Girls and I think represents fall perfectly! They have so many new digital images and stamps for the holidays right now, I want them all and I'm sure you will too when you take a look!

hope your week went well, and your weekend will be a great one! I'm going to get together with the gals on Saturday to learn how to make something new, that I will be sure to share with you next week.

Thank so much for stopping in and for your wonderful comments. Take care!

Peace and Luv,

Hi there and Happy Thursday! Well today I want to introduce to you to Teri, who is a fellow design team member from Sweet Sketch Wednesday who has started her own line of digital images called Delicious Doodles! I was supposed to have talked about this yesterday, but I guess my blonde highlights got the best of me and so I'm (as usual) fashionably late. Since it was my fault, and her stuff is so darn cute, I decided to do 2 cards!

The first is the little birdy that is just as happy and cute as can be! I thought I'd put a little fall leaf on top of his head and paper piece him with some of my favorite Daisy D's paper. The little leaf is just a stamp I got from the Dollar Tree that I colored in. Then the whole image is pop-dotted, and I actually used the same layout as I did for yesterday's card, since I liked it so much! I did do some faux stitching and added a prettty green ribbon!

Second, is a sprig of mistletoe and you know what that means....hehe! I had this one little piece of Daisy D's paper left that I thought I'd put to good use on this card too. This is actually a smaller note card that is made out of SU's Creamy Caramel cardstock, and then there's some Garden Green underneath it that I used a small scallop scissor on. The mistletoe is cut out and the berries are some red jewels. Then I just added some red ribbon and tied the message onto it!

Do check out all of the fun things that Teri has come up with at Delicious Doodles - her little critters are adorable!

Thanks so much for visiting, I appreciate it and your comments very much. Take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! I really enjoyed working with this sketch, and I know that you will too! The image I chose to use today is from Mo's Digital Pencil. It's colored in with markers, cut out with a square nestie and pop-dotted. The papers are all from Close to My Heart, the Bella collection. Then I just added some twill ribbon, a felt flower with paper flower on top of it, a button and some crochet thread. The pic didn't turn out real well today, it's too dark in some spots and too light in others, sorry about that. I am happy with this one otherwise, and I hope you enjoy it too.

Don't forget to check out all of the cards that the rest of the Design Team came up with, and join in on the fun! Take care!
