Hi there! It's Sunday nite and I'm watching the Grammy Awards and so far seeing that I know less than half of the people performing so far! Geez, I luv music, I didn't think I lived that far under a rock! Anyway, this is a card for a very special someone using some SU's cardstocks, Rich Razzleberry and Baja Breeze. The DP I think is from Basic Grey's lemonade paper pad. This is actually a $1 stamp from Michael's, and it's one of my favs, and it's popped up. The cardstock on the top portion is some random lite green cardstock that has been embossed using a friend of mines Cricut. Then I just added some buttons and ribbon. It's quite pretty in person, and I'm happy with the results.

I had a busy weekend, but fun, and tomorrow it's off to another work week. There will be some fun things happening here this week, so be sure to stop in and check them out. Thanks for coming by today, leave some luv before you go, and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Friday!!! Yeah!!! I've just got a simple little birthday wish card to share with you today. The image is from Pink Petticoat and all of the papers and cardstock are from Close to My Heart, the Bella set. Aren't they purdy? Just a little marker action and some Prisma glitter, a flower punch and a little circle nestie, some ribbon and pop-dots and this one was good to go!

We've got the kids this weekend, so it'll be lots of taxi-ing to their fun little activities around town. I'd like to stop in to a little scrapbook shop that's having some sales happening, but other than that, just have a nice relaxing and fun weekend.

I hope you have an awesome Friday, thanks so much for swinging by, leave me some luv before ya go, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Twisted Thursday!! I'm using another image from the new Indulgence line from Shirley's 2 Girls, and this time it's one of my biggest indulgences - CAKE!! I guess I was also thinking about chocolate covered cherries, hence the red. At any rate, I used another of the new Digital Papers too, along with some Prisma glitter on the aroma swirlies and then a medium sized scallop circle punch. Then I just tied on some fun red and white polka dot sheer ribbon. Yum-o ya?!! Be sure to join us this week, and remember to add some chocolate in there! You won't want to miss what the rest of the Design Team has created for you either, so be sure to check them all out!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!! Today's sponsor is an absolute genius and if you have any of her images you know how much fun they are to work with. I'm talking about none other than Maurie Manning at Mo's Digital Pencil Too, and the prize this week is $10 credit toward her stuff! Her doggie that appears in many of her sketches is called Bronte, and I just had to try my best to get this image to look like my Dixie-girl. Since Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holiday's choosing this image to work with was a no-brainer for me. Just the fact that Dixie is the heart of my heart helps too tho!

The supplies to make this card are; SU's Pretty in Pink cardstock, the heart DP is from American Crafts and the small floral white/pink DP is from SU's Pattern Pack II. The image was colored in with markers, and some Copics, and there is some Prisma glitter around her tu-tu. It was then cut out using a nestie and then I added a pretty white sheer ribbon and tied it with a bow.

This is such a fun sketch to work with, that you have no excuse to not join us this week! The rest of the Design Team's creations are sure to inspire you too, so make sure you check them all out.

Thanks so much for coming by and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Monday and here's a couple of boy cards for ya! The first one uses some Bazzil cardstocks, and I'm not sure where the diamond paper is from, but it's just fun. Then I used an oval nestie on the sentiment and tore it in half, and then cut out the same size in white and put it behind. The greenery is from an EK Success punch and then I glued a little button onto it with some linen thread.

Second is a card done with all Close to My Heart papers from the Emporium paper set. I cut the sentiment out with another nestie, this time a small label and then did a little bit of stenciling and added a couple of brads. Then I just wrapped some linen thread around and around it for fun.

Well if you tuned in yesterday, you'll know that my football picks didn't work out for either game, and so the Superbowl will be one of those games that I could really care less about even though I luv football. Just so y'all know, I am from Wisconsin and will always be a die hard Packer fan, and I only wanted the Vikings to win because of Mr. Favre. Plus, the Saints don't play nice!

Thanks for visiting, I've got some fun things coming up this week, so make sure you come on back and check them out. Take care!

Happy (football) Sunday!! Yes, it's a day of playoffs, what fun! This is my first easel card made at the Close to My Heart par-tay that I went to yesterday. Everything here is Close to My Heart and although it was a lot of cutting, I think it turned it really cute. The papers are from the Topstitch paper pack, and the stamps are from the Charmed set. We always have a great time when we get together, and this was no exception. I'll be showing the rest of what we made over the next few days. Thanks so much Ronah, your ideas are always 'da bomb!! Also thanks to Jan we had plenty to fill our tummies with a baked potato and chili bar!

I hope your Sunday is exactly what you'd like it to be, I'm rooting for the Jets in the first game, and the Vikings in the 2nd. Thanks for visiting, and take care!

Haaaappppyyyy Friday!!!! Yahoo! Well today's card is a bit of a re-do or a spruce up, so to speak. This card was originally made at one of our Stampin' Up par-tays and I just added some ribbon and the fun toad image from Pink Petticoat. The cardstocks are SU's Pixie Pink and Tempting Turquoise, and the DP is from the Kaleidescope set. The stamps on the round scallop are from the Boho Backgrounds set. Oh, and I also added the pink rhinestone too. Just some fun and springy colors for ya, since I know a lot of you are in the middle of an icky and snowy winter.
Speaking of winter, AZ is getting some serious rain here this week. So I'd say I would send y'all some sunshine, but we haven't seen any here either. It just helps us appreciate the good weather when it comes, doesn't it?

I hope you have a fabulous Friday, thanks for visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Hi there and Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday #33 to you! Here's another fun sketch to work with, and the sponsor this week is DigiStamp Boutique! These flowers are just one of the fun images you can find there, and as you can see I used it to make a Valentine card. It could be used for just about any holiday or season, and that's what I like about it most of all. I used all SU products; the patterned paper is from Pattern Packs II, and the cardstocks are Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, and Riding Hood Red. I used the same color markers as the cardstock, and Green Galore. I did some piercing around the main image and then used some pretty and silky gray ribbon. I think it turned out really pretty and I'm happy with this one. Be sure, as always, to go over to the Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog, and check out what the rest of the Design Team has cooked up, and join us to win $10.00 in free digital images and there are so many great ones to choose from!

Have a great Wednesday, thanks for visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Hey there and Happy Monday! I've just got a simple, but sweet valentine card for you here today. The image is from Pink Petticoat that I colored with markers and added Prisma glitter for the frosting and then inked the edges. The cardstock is SU's Blush Blossom and the DP is from K&Company's Que Sera Sera mat pad. Then I just added some lace and a bow and voila - a little valentine!

It's raining here in AZ, but when you have an extra day off it doesn't matter, just being off is wonderful! I guess we're getting the rain that California had at the Golden Globes last night - did you watch? I loved all of the purple dresses - just fabulous!

I hope your Monday is a good one, thanks for visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Hi there and Happy Saturday! Are you enjoying your weekend so far? Hope so! Today's card is for a co-worker. Pretty simple, but I do like it. The cardstocks are SU's Creamy Caramel and Not Quite Navy. The stamped swirl is from a set from Close to My Heart called Blooming Flourishes. The DP squares are just random scraps, and then I added some off white twill.

It's a pretty nice day here in AZ, and we're watching the playoffs and playing board games with the kids. I think tomorrow it's going to be pretty much more of the same, just hanging out and having fun. I actually get Monday off too, and so I'm looking forward to another 3 day weekend.

Thanks for coming by and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Twisted Thursday #39 - Hugs and Kisses!! It's another wonderful challenge day at Shirley's 2 Girls, and this week it's an ABC challenge, which means Anything But a Card, with a Valentine's Day twist. Fun, ya?! This is another new and awesome digital image, called In the Air, as well as a new digital paper. So I made a fun tag to tie onto a frappuccino bottle filled with chocolate covered cinnamon bears. Yum-o! I also used a scallop scissor, and on top of the cap is a scallop circle. Well the image is all colored in and popped up and it's just so sweet, don'tcha think?!

As I said earlier, yes these are chocolate covered cinnamon bears and you would not believe where I found them! If you can answer correctly, this bottle is yours!!

You need to check out the rest of what the Ladies With Attitude Design Team has come up with, leave them some luv, and join us this week in order to win!!!

I hope your Friday-Eve is fantastic, thanks for visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Today's sponsor is Fresh Brewed and I chose this Queen for a Day image to work with. There's lots of color going on with markers and papers, the DP's are from Basic Grey, the lemonade paper pad. The cardstocks are from SU, Taken with Teal and Rose Red. I used a nestie, small scallop scissors, ribbon, Prisma glitter, Michael's confetti flowers, a small flower punch, and some rhinestones. The winner of this week's challenge will win $15 in images, so I'd like to see you bring it this week and be the winner. The rest of the designers always come up with the best stuff, so be sure to go on over and check them all out.

Thanks so much, I hope your week is going along good, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Hi there and sorry I haven't posted since Thursday....yikes! Anyway, I had a nice long and sweet birthday weekend, and I appreciate all of your well wishes!

Today's card is a recycled Christmas card. As you can see to the left it was pretty simple to begin with, and easy to recycle into a new creation. Nobody would ever know that it started out as a holiday card I don't think. I used a Pink Petticoat Lola Rose birthday image, some Light Olive Bazzil and some SU Creamy Caramel. I colored her in, and used a ticket corner punch on all of the corners, and then added some green rhinestones. Then I took some more Creamy Caramel and a Fiskars scallop border punch and some off white twine and tied that on with a bow. The image and the sentiment are both popped up.

I hope your weekend was a good one, I appreciate you stopping in for a visit and take care !

Peace & Luv,

Happy Twisted Thursday!!! Yippeee!! This is my first challenge as part of the new Shirley's 2 Girls 2010 Design Team, and what a challenge it is!! What do you think of Zola....ooh la la, ya?! Zola is one of the new releases that we'll be working with for the next 2 weeks. As you can see it's a quick an easy sketch to work with, and the "twist" is to use hearts, which is no problem this time of year, is it? If you haven't heard, Shirley's 2 Girls has gone all digital, and that's very exciting for those of us who need instant gratification. Well the only one who I could give this card to is the BF, and since his favorite color is orange, that's what I went with. She's all colored in and glittered up, and the little strip of DP is from My Mind's Eye. The cardstocks are just some ivory and gray, with some of SU's Creamy Caramel and Really Rust. I actually pulled out a stamp (can you believe it) and used it for the heart, and it's from the SU Polka Dot Punches set. Then I put a silver heart brad in the center of it and popped it up. So fun!

I'd luv to see what you create and remember that you could win some of these adorable and fun images if you enter. If I haven't inspired you enough, check out what the rest of the Design Team has come up with by heading on over to the challenge blog, but just a warning....be prepared to be amazed, because these gals will knock your socks off!

Thanks for visiting me, you motivate me more than words can say, and I read every word of every comment I receive. Take care and Happy Friday Eve!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Another fun sketch to work with, and another great returning sponsor....Inktegrity! Joni has not only this little guy, called Ricky, but many, many more digital images. If you join us, you could win some of them, so please gather your "schtuff" and get moving, because you're going to want to win! I used some DP from a fun new DCWV stack that I just got called Belle Cafe, together with some gray cardstock, as well as some SU Always Artichoke green. For my squares, I just used a scallop punch, which made them all the perfect size right away, and I think gives it a fun little twist. Then I just added some fun sheer polka dot ribbon, whatcha think? As I always say, you should go and check out what the rest of the design team has cooked up, because you won't be disappointed.

Thanks so much for coming by, I appreciate it very much, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
It's my bosses birthday....and what do you get a guy who has everything, ya know?! Well I do hope he likes his card anyway. I used some SU Chocolate Chip cardstock, some gold/orange Bazzil, and the DP is from Kaisercraft. I cut out the sentiment with a label nestie, the stars are from punches and then I tied a button on with some linen thread. That's it!

It was a beautiful 70 degrees here in sunny Arizona! It truly was a gorgeous day. Sorry to those who are freezing cold, but this is the best time of year here.

I hope the start of your week is turning out well, it's about 10:30ish Monday nite here and I've got to get to bed because my eyes are killing me. The alarm clock goes off at 5:30....need I say more?!!

Thanks for stopping in, I appreciate your comments, and don't forget that tomorrow is Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge day, so be sure to come by for that! Take care!
