Happy Friday!! I just got this cute little CTMH stamp set called "A Flitter" and I used almost all of the stamps in it! The papers are also CTMH; the Twitterpated paper packet. I stamped the dragonfly twice and cut out the green wings and placed them on top, and the image is popped up. It does have some glitter on it too and then I tied it all up with bit of lace. I have a vintage card swap coming up and I'm wondering if this could pass...hmmm. This is a CASE of a card that's in the catalog, more or less.....and don't forget to finish off the inside real perty too!

I hope you have an awesome weekend. Thanks so much for hanging out with me this week, remember to tell someone that you love them, and I'll see ya on Monday!

Peace & Luv,
Oh boy if I could have my butt in the sand right now sipping on a daiquiri all would be right in the world! Happy Thursday! Today's card is all based around the sand that I got at a craft fair from Muddpuddles.net and I'm using the Malibu sand from the Beach series. This stuff is awesome and dries pretty darn fast I must say! I am very impressed with it. The image is from Bee Crafty and all of the papers are from CTMH, the Veranda paper packet. Too fun!

Peace, Luv, & Happy Friday-Eve!
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Challenge #60! The sponsor of today's challenge is Shirley's 2 Girls and the winner will receive a $10.00 gift certificate for the images of your choice.

This image is called Le Chat Francais (the french cat), and any image that has any sort of fur baby in it is alright in my book! I used the DCWV's Garden Party stack because the papers are very sparkly and pretty and I thought would work out well with this image and sketch. I cut the circles out with a nestie. I paper pieced the skirt and the shoes, then added lots of Prisma glitter all around, and the ribbon is Martha Stewarts'.

.......and just when you think you couldn't make a guy card out of the Garden Party stack, here's one that I came up with since I had them in front me anyway.

Be sure to check out the rest of the fantastic creations by the rest of the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Design Team, and join us for the chance to win!

Have a very sweet Wednesday and take care!
Peace & Luv,
Yoo Hoo - Happy Tuesday!! Today's card is for Unscripted Sketches Challenge #65. The image I used is from Pink Petticoat and the SU cardstocks are Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay. The patterned papers are from CTMH's Grace paper packet. These are very end of summer/fallish colors, but very striking together I think. These were part of the old SU In Color set. I will be able to check out all of the new colors in a few weeks. I always look forward to seeing new colors to work with.

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your comments, have a great Tuesday and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Hi and Happy Monday! This card is for MelJen's Designs Challenge this week to make an easel card. This little guy is called Poofy Pom and he seems like he could make somebody smile easily. It's kind of hard to take a good pic of an easel card, but I hope you can get the feel of it at least. The papers are CTMH's Belle set.

I hope your weekend was great, thanks for visiting this Monday, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Hi there! I'd like to introduce you to Printcess Lisa who creates Alaphbet Art. I chose to show you one of my favorites, which is the word Create. I have always had a love of architecture, and wanted to be an architect when I was a kid. She has taken pictures of beautiful buildings, doorways, trees, and just about anything else you can think of and when you look beyond what it physically is, saw the shapes of letters. You can purchase one of her pre-made creations, or you can order your own. I can't tell you how excited I am about this idea. In the future she will have beach photos, and that is even more exciting to me. So do check her site out, and send her some luv and tell her I sent ya. Best of luck Lisa - you go girl!!

Peace & Luv,
Hi there and Happy Saturday! This card is for Create with Connie & Mary's Challenge 108 this week. The image that I used is from Pink Petticoat, and the cardstock is SU's Riding Hood Red, and the patterned papers are SU's Bella Rose set. It came together quickly, and that's a good thing because I've got one foot out the door to a CTMH par-tay!

I hope your weekend is good, thanks so much for visiting and for your wonderful comments and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Pamper Yourself!

Happy, happy Friday! Woohoo!! I put this card together quickly last nite after my card swap and this lace is one of the things that I got from one of the gals that had a big box of it! You can't turn down free! This image was also a freebie and it was from Whoopsie Daisy. I thought she was just a cutie pie. She was fun to color in too. The Bashful Blue cardstock is from Stampin' Up and the rest of the papers I'm not real sure about, but it was a set I think from Making Memories. Not sure about that though...hehe...my brain is fried after a very long week!!!

Have an awesome Friday, don't forget to pamper yourself, and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Hey there! Tonite is my card swap with the gals and this is my card. If you take a look at the scallop border under the polka dots you'll see that it was made out of something other than paper. The challenge was to use this somewhere on our cards. Can you guess what it is? Well you know the labels that are on your mattresses....that's what this is! One of the gals came across someone who had boxes and boxes of these. They are plain white and kind of like satin, but the back has kind of a leather like feel to it so it's pretty stable to work with. The backing is actually made out of something that you can iron it on. She said she just knew that we could find a use for them and we all got a stack. I can't wait to see what everybody else came up with tonite! This image is from Pink Petticoat, and the DP's are from DCWV's Bell Cafe stack. The papers are all sparkly and glittery and I added some glitter to the shoes too. I wish it showed up for you to see. Certainly a card for a very girly, girl!

Peace, Luv and Happy Friday-Eve!
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! This cute little lady is called Liddie, and she is one of the Lil Poppet images from DigiSamp Boutique, who is our sponsor this week. Of course Arlana's Sketch #59 I thought worked well to scatter a few extra birdies by her feet that I printed out in different sizes. I just love Sally Ann's images, and there are so many to choose from too!

I do have to say that my mojo is indeed busted this week, as this is not one of my best, but I really tried hard so I hope I get an A for effort anyway. The pic doesn't show the true colors very well, as her slacks and the middle strip are actually a darker Teal to match some of the DP. The base cardstock is SU's Summer Sun, and the rest of the papers are from DCWV's Mediterranean Stack.

Do be sure to check out what the rest of the beautiful Sweet Sketch Wednesday Design Team has created, as they will be sure to inspire you to join us this week. Do you know what the prize is for the winner...........10, that's right I said 10 of these wonderful images!

Thanks and have a very, very sweet Wednesday!

Peace & Luv,
Hi there! I took a much needed weekend break from blogging, so I hope you didn't miss me too much...hehe!! I hope I made up for it with a set of cards today. First I should say everything is Stampin' Up, even though I think almost all of it is retired. The round sentiments are where I started and they are from the Think Happy Thoughts set. Then, since there were 4, I decided to use all 4 of the wheel stamps that I own, which are Cupcakes, Dragonflies, Tailgating and Perfectly Pretty. Everything was stamped in black with black cardstock as the base of the card. The sentiments were cut out using a round nestie, then a scallop punched Patterned Paper, then another round nestie, with the flower from the stamp set, and a brad in the center. The wheel stamps were all colored in and glittered up, and then I used a small scallop scissor to trim another piece of black to layer under it. The papers are from a Pattern Packs set from awhile ago. My intention is to make more gift sets to have around for when I need them, and with Christmas coming up, I think they'd make a nice little gift. I like how they turned out actually, and I hope you do too!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Friday and another reason to Go Bananas!! Just another quick and easy card for you today, sorry about that, but it's the end of the week and I'm tired! This happy little monkey is from Pink Petticoat, and the papers are all SU; Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry and a bit of patterned paper from an older paper set called Delicate Dots. I always like that set, and I have coveted it for long enough. I used the same color markers and a new Copic marker to outline (N1 - Neutral Gray), and then the image is popped up.

Well I hope your week was good and that you're looking forward to the weekend. I don't have anything planned right now, and that's just fine with me. We'll have the kids, plus it's hotter than you can image out there right now. I'm sweating in places I didn't know I had!

Thanks for hangin' out with me this week, I appreciate your comments very much, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Thursday beautiful!! I've got a pretty simple card for you today, for me anyway, following a tutorial I found at Krystie Lee's blog called Cupcake Martini. I love that blog name and adore her work!! Anyway, I didn't use the same products she did, but I still love the results and the inspiration of it. I used a square nestie, with some of SU's Baja Breeze ink on a sponge for the background. The flower and stamp are from CTMH's Smiles set, and it's stamped in SU's Wild Wasabi for the stem, and Groovy Guava for the flower. I stamped the flower twice and cut one out to put on top of the other and kinda bent the petals under a bit. Then I put a rhinestone in the center. The papers are SU's Baja Breeze and Groovy Guava (thanks Jan!), and the striped paper is from CTMH's Caboodle set. I really love this idea, and I plan to use it again. Thanks Krystie!!

I hope your week has been great so far, I appreciate and love to hear your comments, and take care!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Today's sponsor is Digi Stamp Characters, and boy oh boy are they ca-ute!! This little gal is one of them, and I love her little shoes and socks the most! She's all colored in and cut out with an oval nestie, with a round nestie behind that is SU's Tempting Turquoise, which is the base of the card too. The patterned papers are from Sassafras, and I used both sides, with a little scrap of SU's Red Riding Hood. Then, the sentiment is on a smaller oval nestie in SU's So Saffron, the ribbon is CTMH, and I added a flower, button and red crochet thread bow. The main image is also popped up. I would hope she would help to make anyone feel better!

As always, the rest of the Design Team has turned out some real masterpiece's, so be sure to check them all out on the Sweet Sketch blog, and join us for the chance to win 3 digital images of your own from Digi Stamp Characters!

Have a very sweet Wednesday, thanks for visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Tuesday.....isn't it a Holiday?....hehehe!! Since I was painting last nite (and watching the Bachelorette), the only thing I could get together this morning is the make and take from Saturday. It's very sparkly and pretty, and I'm sorry it doesn't show so much that way here, but it really is. The stamps are from Amuse and we used a powder after we stamped that when we heat it up it turned sticky, and then we put glitter on top of that. It was very cool, and I like the simpleness of it. All I did when I got home was to put it on top of a piece of SU's Pixie Pink cardstock. I didn't get this snowflake stamp, but I did buy a poinsettia, that I thought would be beautiful in many different colors. A cute and fun little non-tranditional color, holiday card!

Have an awesome Tuesday, thanks for visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Hey there and Happy Monday! Let's chat...shall we? This is one of my favorite little teapots from Pink Petticoat. I really enjoy working with sketches from the challenge blogs out there, and today I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop. The cardstock is from SU and it's called Lavender Lace. The DP is from CTMH and it's from the Silhouette paper pack, and I used both sides of it. Then I added some ribbon that matches pretty darn close - don't cha just love when that happens?! The image is popped up, and then I added a little button and a bow!

Well we're off to another week, so let's just get enough coffee or tea in us today to deal with it and get through it, ya?!

Thanks for coming by, I appreciate your comments very much, and I do enjoy reading what you have to say. Let me know if there's something special or different that you'd like to see, and I'll do it!

Take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happiness....that's what Saturday's are right?! This little lady is from Sassy Cheryl's, and this is for sketch challenge #19 on her blog. The image is called Ladybug Lady and she just makes me smile! The papers I used are from SU's Design Pack of patterned papers with Red Riding Hood cardstock. The image is colored in with markers and cut out with a nestie. Then I went flower punch crazy using the same papers, but sponging some of the red riding hood ink lightly on the ends of the bigger flowers. Then I added some black brads in the centers. The little heart is a sizzlit, and the ribbon is from Michael's (from Christmas).

Well I'm off in a little bit this morning on my day trip with the gals to a new stamp store. Not that I need anything, but I can always use some new ideas and maybe a couple new things just for the fun of it!

I hope you are off to a great weekend, I appreciate you stopping by, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy, happy Friday....woohoo!! I found a new challenge blog that today's card was made with called Create with Connie and Mary. I thought this would be a fun sketch to work with, and I was right! I used all SU products for this one; the stamps are from So Many Scallops, the papers are from the Raspberry Tart set, and the cardstocks are Melon Mambo and Pacific Point. Both of those cardstock flavors are hanging around, and that makes me happy! I guess you can figure out the rest of what I did, and I do like these colors together too. I told ya I was going to branch out, and try to combine the unexpected and so far I think it's working. This isn't a combination I would normally have thought of, but it pays to go through scraps and see what happens!

Tomorrow I've got a fun filled day with the gals planned. We're going to Amuse-A-Palooza at a stamp shop here that none of us have been to before. They're having some make and takes, and then we're going to go to lunch together after that. Neal's off on a boy scout camping trip, so it's perfect timing...hehe! He has worked so hard this week on updating our master bath, and it is so amazing I can hardly believe it! It's small, like our whole luv shack is, but we sure are having fun fixing it up!

Have an awesome Friday and thanks so much for visiting. Sorry about the problems with getting to my blog yesterday, but I figured it all out and corrected it and now I'm good to go.

Peace and Friday Luv,
Hey Chick it's Thursday!! This is a quickie, being that it's an already colored in image from Pink Petticoat. The sentiment is too, although I did use a pink marker on it a little bit. The papers are from SU's Bella Birds set, with some Barely Banana and Chocolate Chip cardstock. Then I added some pretty sheer yellow ribbon and some buttons. The image and sentiment are popped up. Voila!

I hope your short work week is going along fine and dandy. I appreciate you checking in, and always love hearing from you. Take care!

Peace, Luv, and Happy Friday-Eve!
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Today's Sketch #57 is sponsored by the Digi Doodle Shop and there's a $10 gift certificate for the winner! The apron image that I used is from the Kitchen Set, which has 6 images in it. All of the papers and cardstock that I used are from CTMH, the Cherry-O set. The apron is paper pieced and then shaded with a couple of markers and it's also popped up. The ribbon is from Big Lots, and it's Martha Stewart's craft seam binding called Cloud. Five yards for $1! The button is also from CTMH. Apron's always remind me of my mom, especially on the holidays because she had a special one for each of them!

Be sure to check out what the rest of the lovely Sweet Sketch Wednesday Design Team gals have created, and join us this week for the chance to win! A very bittersweet farewell to Heather....you will be missed!

Thanks for visiting, have a very sa-weet Wednesday, and take care!
