One for the Boys ~

Monday, June 30, 2014

I'm starting off the week with one for the boys.  This paper was made with an embossing folder that I haven't even used as such, but I my thought would be great to use for a more manly type card at the time that I got it.  I suppose then that it all worked out fine, at least in my mind anyway....haha!

Tie Dye Love ~

Saturday, June 28, 2014

I finally figured out why I like to make these embossing folder stamped papers so much....I love tie dye!  It must be the old hippie in me coming out, but the colors that came out on this one totally remind me of it.  I made 3 of these papers, so I've got two more cards to make....Happy Saturday!

Dragonflies & Coffee ~

Wednesday, June 25, 2014

If there's one thing that my blogland friend Carol Dee and I have in common it's dragonflies and coffee.  So when I made this embossing folder stamped paper over the weekend, it was obvious who I was making today's card for!  The large dragonfly is made out of another piece of the stamped cardstock as well, and of course I had to add in some kind of coffee treat so I made this little container, filled it, and made a tiny tag with another little part of the stamped dragonflies too!  It's going in today's mail girlfriend ~ Enjoy!

A pretty little vase of flowers to perk you up today!  I did some more playing with embossing folder stamping over the weekend, so now I've got some more papers to play with like this one.  This sketch seemed perfect to not have to cover too much of it up!

Monday, June 23, 2014

It's a super bird indeed, and perfect for a boy card.  I used lots of scraps and the star paper just seemed to fit too.  It's also a Monday, so let's stir up some super coffee and get to it!

Ahhhh....Saturday! ~

Saturday, June 21, 2014

Coffee, a cupcake, and my computer - What more do I need on a Saturday?  I played with embossing folders again this morning.  The checkered background behind her there is what I came up with when I stamped the folder with versamark and then chalked it. I didn't plan on making a red, white, and blue card when I started out but 'tis the season!!

Hot Diggity Dog ~

Friday, June 13, 2014

Have you ever thought of using just part of your digital images, or any stamps for that matter?

Well I printed this one out way too big but decided to turn this mistake into something I could use by just using the lower half of it!  Why not, right?!

I don't think anyone would be upset that you were late if you gave them daisies, at least I wouldn't be!  They are my fav, and another good reason that I needed this stamp too!

RV There Yet? ~

Wednesday, June 11, 2014

We're half way through the week and I don't like camping, but if I could hang out in this cute little camper I just might!  This set is another one from Close to My Heart, and all of the papers and accessories to go with it are so fun too. Thanks to my CTMH rep Ronah for putting this card design and products together, and helping me think outside of the box again!

Life's a Beach ~

Monday, June 9, 2014

You gotta love this gal.  She sure makes me smile anyway.  Yep, another embossing folder stamped background here that I thought would coordinate with her.  Problem is that I just don't want to cover them up, but then you can always put the stamp on top of the spot where you made a mistake!

Happy Monday!

Ooh la la ~

Sunday, June 8, 2014

Look at me posting on the weekend!  Well I didn't want to
miss out on joining the color Challenge No. 11 at The Card Concept since I've been thinking about it all week, with my simple but shabby chic creation. Like I talked about yesterday, I'm playing with the whole embossing folder stamping, so this is another one that I came up with.  I'd like to get some of that fancy glimmer mist for it, I think that would make me just a little bit happier with it.  I'm on the fence about this one, but everything is better with a little sparkle!

I hope you're having a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

Saturday, June 7, 2014

I tell ya what's amazing is this technique I had to try with embossing folders.  Yep that's homemade paper I just made here with some ink on watercolor paper.  I'm pretty sure I'm going to be experimenting with more of these this weekend, so you'll be seeing the ones that turn out anyways probably next week!

Happy Friday-Eve!
